Item Description
11x16" on thin lightly coated card stock. Promoting a concert "Tues. November 25" at the "Providence Civic Center" and features image of Jimmy Carter leaning on a table watching the band warm up before a gig. Corner bump at top and bottom left, light edge wear and overall minor even age. Exc. By the end of 1975 and heading into 1976, The Allman Brothers were so well established that Presidential nominee Jimmy Carter counted himself among their fans. Though on the road to classic rock icon status, the seams were starting to split internally. Over the course of 1976, tensions would grow and the band would split up before the end of the year w/Gregg Allman noting the Carter benefit show as the lone high point of their otherwise dismal final tour. Footage of this concert can be seen in the 2020 documentary "Jimmy Carter Rock & Roll President." The last example we offered brought $3,856 in July 2022. Infrequently offered and a fantastic cross collectible.
