Item Description
2.25x2.75". Near set 23 of 24 missing only #3. ACC# R76. Card fronts have color art of famous events, people, etc. in American history such as: Declaration Of Independence, Liberty Bell, Washington Crossing The Delaware, Boston Tea Party, Daniel Boone, Paul Revere's Ride and more. Backs feature text for that specific subject and overprinted are jigsaw puzzle lines as these could be cut apart and used as a puzzle. Two back varieties exist, one w/the set title information printed at the bottom, as offered here, and one w/the title at the top (see next lot). The CGC grades breakdown as follows - 7 NM (1), 6 EX-NM (6), 5.5 EX+ (3), 5 EX (8), 4.5 VG-EX+ (2), 4 VG-EX (2) and 3 VG (1). Both this and the next lot are rather obscure non-sport issues and the only card set issued by Sperry. John Grossman Collection.
