Item Description
Unlike the previous button scene of donkey tossing woman, on this version she straddles the donkey with her hands grasping its ears. Reads "Souvenir Independence (likely Missouri) Street Fair Sept 27/28-29" but design is off center so lower text can only be seen on the side curl as "A Hot Time In The Old Town". Neatly pen notated on back paper "1899 Gert Rigby". Off center as made but superb color and NM. Only example known to us with this imprint. Rare. See next lot.
