Original printing 27x41" teaser poster for 1983 film originally titled Revenge Of The Jedi, until director George Lucas realized revenge was a concept not in tune w/the Jedi code, changing it to Return Of The Jedi for the film's theatrical release. Two versions of this poster were printed, w/one undated and one w/May 25, 1983 date as seen in the example offered here. Poster has been rolled though it does exhibit a number of faint horizontal creases. Poster shows obvious wear at lower right, w/2x5" area above "Jedi" in title showing heavy surface paper rippling/wear, but this blends somewhat as it is in a darker area of the poster design. Lower right margins have scattered aging and staining. VG overall.
