Item Description
2.25" w/union bug at 6 o'clock. A few tiny scattered spots, most notably on the "N" in "Senate" and the "O" in "Obama", w/the rest being barely seen in the blue background. Both of the two examples we have encountered had similar spotting. VF. Produced for his third campaign for State Senate in 2002. He was re-elected and by 2004 was the US Senate nominee. This design saw a second life during that campaign w/a remaining few leftovers being distributed at the 2004 Illinois State Fair. This design is notably rarer than the variety offered as the previous item. An important early career badge for the future President on the cusp of his meteoric rise to the White House.
