Item Description
This unnumbered set consists of 97 felt pennants w/a small bw player photo attached to each. The triangular pennants are 2-7/8" across the top and tapers to a length of about 6". The photos appear to be identical to those used for the Sporting News issues of the same period. The pennants list the player's name and team. Johnson finished his career w/a record of 417-279, a career ERA of 2.17 and a then all-time record of 3,509 strikeouts along w/the still-standing MLB record of 110 career shutouts and was part of the inaugural class of five which was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936.
