Item Description
11x17" offset print on thin uncoated stock. Made prior to the event to promote ticket sales. Additional bands on this tour include Ministry, Ice Cube, The Jesus And Mary Chain and Lush. This poster promotes a tour stop in East Troy, WI at "The New Alpine Valley Music Theatre" on Aug. 29. Tiny corner bump at top right and a small margin abrasion at bottom right. Otherwise extremely clean w/only trivial handling. Still Exc. This incarnation of the fabled Lollapalooza Festival was a major catalyst in propelling the explosion of grunge. Pearl Jam released their debut album Ten in Aug. 1991. It was initially a slow seller but by the second half of 1992, was on fire due largely to their relentless touring. This festival tour gave them wider exposure helping to catapult them to the top of the grunge heap.
