Item Description
The Red Man Tobacco baseball card sets issued between 1952-55 were the first nationally distributed tobacco advertising cards since the early days of the 20th century. The 50 card set released in 1955 measures 3.5x4" and included 25 ballplayers from each league. Card fronts feature full color portraits. Advertising back denotes promotions being offered by Red Man.

Albert Fred "Red" Schoendienst  was an American professional baseball second baseman, coach, and manager in Major League Baseball (MLB), and is largely known for his coaching, managing, and playing years with the St. Louis Cardinals. Some of his career highlights include being a ten time All-Star and a five time World Series Champion. Schoendienst was elected to the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1989. Autograph is bold and excellently placed across the middle of the card. This signed copy is the only example ever graded by PSA, making it a true 1/1.
