Item Description
3.5x5.5" postcard from series issued by the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, NY.

Walter Fenner "Buck" Leonard (September 8, 1907 - November 27, 1997) was an American first baseman in Negro league baseball and in the Mexican League. Leonard never played in Major League Baseball (MLB); he declined a 1952 offer of an MLB contract because he felt he was too old. Career highlights include being a two time Netro National League batting champion, 11 time All-Star and three time Negro World Series champion. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972. Autograph is distinct and well placed along the top of the card.
