Item Description
Other than the Muchinsky Collection book example, this is the only other example we've had in our 58 years. 7/8". W&H back paper. Small but attractive button w/baseball design. Button is dated for April 6th event hosted by the Denver Grizzlies (previously Bears) Minor League team that played primarily in the Western League. They were founded in 1885. McDonald entered politics as mayor of Leadville, CO., a position he held from 1899 until early 1905. Button celebrates his taking the governor's office the previous month (March 17th). He was Colorado's 16th governor. Glossy, Exc. A rare and esoteric baseball button.
