Button is dated for April 6th event hosted by the Denver Grizzlies (previously Bears) Minor League team that played primarily in the Western League. They were founded in 1885. McDonald entered politics as mayor of Leadville, CO., a position he held from 1899  until early  1905. Button celebrates his taking the governor's office the previous month (March 17th).  He was Colorado's 16th governor. Glossy, Exc. A rare and esoteric baseball button.
