Item Description
1.75". No maker. Nice button design w/bw photo that has blue/red color tinting on his ball cap, as well as blue/red rim text. Rim design includes pair of small Chief Wahoo images (some others in this series had small stars on the rim). He played for the team 1941-42 and 1946-57. Hegan was a professional baseball player, coach, and scout. He played for 17 seasons as a catcher in Major League Baseball from 1941 to 1942 and 1946 to 1960. In addtion to the Indians, he played for the Tigers, Phillies, Giants and Cubs. A five-time All-Star and three-time World Series champion. Member of the Indians Hall Of Fame.
