Auction 192 - Part I
Item numbers 1 though 1052 in auction 192
Item Description
7/8" unisted in DeWitt/Sullivan and Hake. Brass rims surround recessed brass circle covered in tiny dot marks and symbols that look much like a letter "Y." At the very center is crisp, clear jugate with their names above. On a tiny hairline at the extreme right edge of Wheeler next to the brass there was a sliver of corrosion which has been neatly removed and remaining traces of the problem are essentially invisible unless a magnifier is used. On the reverse, the vertical stickpin is free to move right or left although firmly attached. The tiny tin tab at the bottom meant to hold it in position has snapped off. A beautiful and rare piece displaying N. Mint.
