Item Description
12.25x16" pen and watercolor drawing on stiff art paper signed "Sheldon 'Shelly' Moldoff." Moldoff was Bob Kane's first assistant on Batman and became a premiere Golden Age artist with Hawkman. This piece was done in the 1990s but has a style reminiscent of the 1940s with large Batman image with him holding cape in front of face ala Dracula. Piece is finished by bats and moonlight, a nod to the Batsymbol. N. Mint.
