8.75x11.25" hardcover by Eclipse Books ©1989 Bob Kane. First printing. Subtitled "An Autobiography By Bob Kane" with 156 pages featuring great art and photos chronicling Kane's career. Includes full color reprints of Batman stories from New York World's Fair 1940 comic and World's Finest Comics #6 from 1942. Cloth-bound cover has paper label picturing Kane next to an illustration of Batman. Comes with matching cloth-covered slipcase which features facsimile Bob Kane signature in gold foil. Inside front cover has glossy color paper tipped-in bookplate signed in black ink by Kane. This also has individual inked edition number "130/1000." A limited number of these were issued as a deluxe edition with an original Batman sketch by Kane. This 7.5x10" tipped-in sheet has Batman portrait sketch done in black felt tip pen and is signed by Kane. Several versions of this book were available with this being the nicest and most expensive edition issued. A great item for any Batman fan, as it chronicles both Batman and the man behind the Bat, Bob Kane. N. Mint.
