Also contains several articles by Eleanor Roosevelt. Full-color Sunday comic section features Blondie, Popeye, Little Iodine, Prince Valiant, Li'l Abner, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Henry, Mandrake The Magician, Donald Duck. This section is smaller than the rest of the daily news sections, resulting in pages remaining VF. Volume includes several photos of President Truman. Great ads for Shmoo Dubl Ice Cream Bars, Benny Goodman concert and circus ads. Abbott & Costello "It Ain't Hay" and "In The Navy" movie ads with full color "Out Of Africa" ad. Volume also contains several classic 1949 car ads. Pages have clippings, loose pages and tears with a few tape repairs at edges. Cover has light wear. VG/Fine overall. Front cover has library label.
