Auction 192 - Part II
Item numbers 1053 though 2638 in auction 192
Item Description
15.5x21" die-cut cardboard c. 1934. Bottom has a pair of slots where this could attach to a standard display bin but reverse is also designed with an easel for countertop display. Mickey stands next to a sign reading "Mickey Mouse Or Other Walt Disney Cut-Outs Now On Every Package." Below this is an example image of cereal box with back panel featuring cut-outs of Mickey and Pluto, Horace, side panel cut-outs of Minnie and The Goof. Reverse has scattered dust soiling and aging, small piece of the easel tab used to lock it into position is missing but large easel itself is intact and still stands using just this. Front has moderate dust soiling and aging, lower right corner has very faint 3" crease. All color remains strong. Fine. An exceptional display sign and the only one we know of. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
