Item Description
Set of six thin plasic puppets, each about 2x3.5" w/character image and name printed on front. c. 1964. Set includes "Freckle Face Strawberry, Loud Mouth Lime, Goofy Grape, Rootin' Tootin' Raspberry, Injun Orange, Chinese Cherry." Injun Orange and Chinese Cherry were changed shortly after their introduction due to complaints from ethnic groups. Set is NM. This is only the 2nd set we have ever offered, the 1st set sold for $2,035. This is a file copy from the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
