Item Description
29" tall. c. 1930s. Back of neck reads "Copyright Sterling Doll Co." Same company made a Red Grange doll. Composition head has all-over professional restoration, largely to hair. All blends perfectly and is only noticeable when viewed closely. 14" wood bat and leatherette belt match, but not sure if original. Stuffed body with composition hands/shoes. Felt "NY" Yankees logo appears on jersey. Left sleeve shows light wear along seam. Nicely tailored uniform with piping along pants sides. Well-tailored collar on jersey. Felt "NY" logo appears on cap. Uniform/cap evenly aged. Overall VG. Rare.
