Item Description
27x41" poster for the 1949 re-release of the 1942 RKO Radio picture. Film starred Gary Cooper, Teresa Wright, Walter Brennan and Babe Ruth. This poster is one of the few instances when a re-release poster is of more value and collectibility than the initial run poster. Poster was released in two-toned red and black colors for 1942 poster and omitted Babe Ruth image at lower right-hand corner. Re-release poster re-presents Cooper and Wright images in glorious color with the Babe an excellent addition. Poster has been linen-mounted with moderate restoration at fold creases, though most blends nicely. Poster still retains a VF appearance and would look great framed.
