Item Description
5.25x19.75" strip contains 4-panel story, pen and ink art by creator Chic Young. Art features Dagwood and Blondie in an early pre-marriage daily strip. Strip ran Mar. 11, 1931 and has KFS Inc. copyright paste-on in first panel with "Great Britain Rights Reserved" paste-on as well. Signed by Young in last panel. Art is from the 7th month of the strip's debut. Scattered pencil and ink notes in margin which show some light aging. Right-hand side margin has uneven edge. VF. Art areas remain Exc./N. Mint.
