Item Description
7.25x23" strip contains 4-panel story with art by creator Chester Gould, featuring Dick Tracy, Pat Patton and Chief Brandon with small image of villain "Needles" crushed by car in last panel. Strip ran Oct. 20, 1943 and has Chicago Tribune copyright paste-on in second panel. Top margin reads "Dick Tracy - Steel Necktie" in pencil. Various pencil and ink notes at margins. VF with Exc./N. Mint art areas.
