Conical satin-like fabric over cardboard figure 10.5" tall with base dia. of 3". Figure has painted eyes, black celluloid for hands with deliniated grasping fingers, yellow sash for robe and underside is pale blue cardboard base with large cut-out flap plus a blue ribbon to tie it closed. Chest has 1" dia. glue mark likely where a KKK paper emblem was once fastened. Right hand holds 3.75" long, slightly waxed, twisted cardboard match with red accent for match head. The match shaft has two bends below the hand but still intact. Very small dust smudge upper left of eyes. Vast majority remains extremely clean. Only example we know of but we sold this same one about 20 years ago. Unusual and Rare.
