Item Description
Art titled "Bush Bomb" is 6.75" on 7.25x10" sheet. Inspired by the closing scene of Stanley Kubrick's 1964 movie "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb." Art is in shades of b/w and depicts Bush with Uncle Sam hat riding tail end of a bomb as it falls down on "Iraq." Campbell's booklet states "sold later as a one-of-a-kind pin." The pin utilized a print. This is the original art and Campbell's note on the cover sheet over the art reads: "'BUSH BOMB' - FIRST DRAFT. THE VERY FIRST PIN ART RENDERING I ATTEMPTED - DONE IN FELT MARKER." Unique and Mint as made. See next related item.
