11.5x18.5" hinged cardboard holder holds a 9.25x9.25" hanging tin litho "Daisy Rocket Target." Target shows several pictures of actual rockets and jets including: A-9 Glider Rocket, V-2 Rocket, Strato-Jet and V-1 Rocket as well as two records set by V-2 Rockets. Some minor wear to rim and some scattered paint nicks but overall Exc. Set also includes 7"long "Daisy Rocket Dart Pistol" which is same design as #2054 only with different text and art with flaming portholes. Some scattered paint nicks but still Exc. Comes w/two rubber suction tipped rocket darts, whose suction cup heads have hardened with age but are still intact with some cracks. This is set #981 c. 1950s. Cardboard holder has some wear and aging to labels and die-cut tab used to hold gun in place has a .25" tear which has tape repair to reverse. Holder is Fine. Rare and first we've seen.
