Item Description
4.5x5.5" album page signed by the Stooges. Starting in 1930 as Ted Healy and His Stooges, they split from Healy and formed the Three Stooges in 1934 and got right to work. This group made 97 short subject comedies together for Columbia between 1934 and 1947. Born Moses Horwitz, Moe Howard was the leader of the Stooges and along w/Larry Fine, they were the only performers that were w/Stooges throughout entirety of their screen lives. Moe's younger brother, Jerome Lester Horwitz, became Curly and a legend was born. This page is signed in blue ink by the most popular incarnation of the Stooges. Along w/their names the Stooges signed nicknames as well, which is unusual. The page's inscription reads "To Robert Sincerely The 3 Stooges Moe (Bangs) Howard, Larry (Fuzzy) Fine, Jerry Curly Howard." Page was later removed from album and as a result, the bottom of the page has an uneven edge which could be easily matted out for display. Aside from this and extremely lt. aging at the edges, this page is Mint. Soitenly a beautiful example of the Stooges signatures and a must for any fan.
