Item Description
Each three dimensional brass coffin is 1-1/8" tall with lapel stud reverse. Each has front upper half hinged lid that snaps down to reveal metal head of McKinley in gold or Bryan in silver. Front of McKinley coffin reads "Bill McKinley November 3rd 96" and inner surface of lid reads "A Friend Of Trusts And British Gold." Front of Bryan coffin reads "Billy Bryan November 3rd 96" and inner surface of lid reads "Free Silver Knock Him Out." Exteriors have nice clean brass finish and interiors have mint luster. A rare pair of mechanicals in Exc. condition. From the Hake Collection and previously sold for over $1,500 in Auction #191.
