Item Description
Beautiful 1.25" with rim text "The Right Men In The Right Place At The Right Time." Dated 1775 and 1900 along with the portraits and names of Washington, Lincoln and Grant. Text also reads "McKinley For President & Roosevelt Vice President." Dates of 1861 and 1865 appear below the portraits of Lincoln and Grant. Most of bkg. was brighter gold luster and now a deeper gold but no stain. Reverse has small 1/8" gap between cello and metal back making tiny bump on left side edge. The typical example has backpaper reading "Trade Orders Filled By Designer And Owner Capt. Willis,...Cleveland." However, this example has concave brass sheet as back cover with horizontal bar pin and stamped patent of maker Whitehead & Hoag. VF and a rare variety.
