Item Description
Christmas covers are always something special in the world of comics. For this issue, Jack Burnley has set the level so high that few can argue that this one deserves the over abused description, “Classic.” His portrayal of Santa for this cover rivals that of any other magazine version, including the Saturday Evening Post. This cover also reminds readers that there was still a war going on. The phrase “back on the 6th war loan” appears above the Bat-insignia. This issue features an appearance by the Penguin. Jerry Robinson contributes interior art. The book is CGC-certified VF/NM 9.0.
