Item Description
Similar to item #1663 also by N.N. Hill Brass Co. This one ©1938. Base of the phone is of a slightly different shape. Attached to the back of the handset rest is thick die-cut cardboard piece depicting both Mickey and Donald. Rotary dial turns and rings. Red painted parts have scattered small paint nicks, silver parts have tiny traces of oxidation but most silver luster remains. On the front of the cardboard attachment, the surface paper of Mickey's ears has been replaced but only noticeable when viewed closely. Attachment o/w has scattered aging, some light creases and edge wear. Still VG/Fine and the first we've seen of this variety. From the Michael J. Stern Collection.
