8x8.5" single-sided William Morris Agency contract from New York office dated Aug. 23, 1951 states contract for engagement of West in "Diamond Lil" play opening "On Or About September 11, 1951." Play ran on Broadway from Sep. 14, 1951 and closed on Nov. 10, 1951 after 67 total performances. West's salary was originally noted as $2,000 per week but West appears to have crossed out this figure and written in $3,000 and adding her initials. Signed in blue ink. Double hole punches at top as issued, one of these having tear at top margin. Light handling and aging. VF/Exc. with N. Mint signature area. Comes with Hake's COA.
