Issued in 1940 by Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp. Each is a set of 50 cards 1.75x2.5" complete with 5x7.25" album and mailing envelope. Envelopes have obvious margin wear and aging. Good/VG. Each album has cover title "Album Of Modern American Airplanes" along with series indication of either A or B. Each has 16 pages for placement of the cards along with descriptive text for that specific card. Both albums have trace of glue staining where cards were once mounted as intended. Light cover wear. Fine. Cards feature choice full color fronts, text backs. All backs have glue staining as originally mounted but exhibit no surface paper wear from removal so all text is legible. Card fronts show just slightest trace of margin aging and overall remain quite clean and with sharp corners. No creases. Aside from the glue staining, cards remain Exc.
