Partial cardboard sheet is 13x21.5". Imprint of "Steffen's." As trimmed, lid designs on left and top margins are incomplete. There are a total of 24 complete lid designs (6 rows of 4). Those with two lids per person include baseball stars Jimmie Foxx and Carl Hubbell plus movie stars William Boyd/Hopalong Cassidy, Warner Baxter, Gary Cooper, Bobby Breen, Annabella, Alice Faye. Those with single lid designs include baseball star Wally Moses, football star Sammy Baugh and movie stars Don Ameche, Tim McCoy, June Lang, Tommy Kelly, Gene Autry and Jane Withers. These lids were issued in 1938. Sheet has a number of long noticeable creases. 1" or so piece is missing from top center and right top and bottom corners. Obvious scattered aging. Overall just Good but a very interesting item for your Dixie lid collection and the only such uncut sheet we've seen.
