Item Description
9" tall, 6 oz. box. 1950s. Front panel features image of Cadet Happy with inset ad for the trading cards which were issued 1 per box. Text reads "40 Exciting Full Color Pictures Of Space Heroes, Rockets, Jets, Weapons, Stars, Planets. Start Your Collection Today!" One side panel has additional ad for the Space Patrol Microscope Kit that was available for 25¢ and one box top. Back panel ad is for generic salad bowl set. Inside of box still retains the waxed paper liner bag. Top flap neatly cut open along front edge but all flaps remain intact, bottom flaps sealed as issued. Light scattered trace of aging, front panel at lower left corner has small and very faint tan stain that blends. Box remains tight, bright and VF. Rare. Box even comes with the card that was originally issued inside. This is "Emergency In Space" from the "Rockets, Jets And Weapons Series" sub-set. Some pinpoint tan age dots and tiny surface paper nick at top. This box is a must-have item to go along with your card set.
