Item Description
8-3/8x14.5" artboard has 4.5x5" and 5x6" areas of original watercolor art being connected. Original artwork for "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" Little Golden book published in 1947. This edition was the first Snow White Little Golden Book. Art is for a double-page layout featured on pages 30-31 and shows dungeon scene with evil witch leaving in her boat with poison apples as her pet raven looks on beside lit candle. Pinhole in upper left-hand corner of artboard, unpainted areas have light to moderate handling/dust soiling with 1/8x.25" stain in upper center margin and 1.5x2" area of moisture staining in bottom right-hand corner which does extend into artwork but blends for the most part. Art areas are Exc.
