Item Description
Original issue 14x15.5" frame has matted display with acetate sheet, opening measuring about 7.5x9.5". 6.5x8" cel image depicts baby Dumbo being tickled under his chin by Matriarch elephant, just prior to his sneeze which unfurls his enormous ears. From 1941 Disney animated feature. Original Courvoisier provided painted bkg. along with their label on back. This label notes "Dumbo, The Circus Elephant Original Painting On Celluloid Used In Production, Being 1 Of Only 29 Available." Celluloid sheet has warp with some minor paint flaking and noticeable hairline crazing, but when viewed straight on still displays Fine. Pivotal scene from film.
