Item Description
First the item. 2.75x2.75" bright brass luster six-pointed star badge from 1950 with inscription surrounding high relief, realistic detailed images of Roy and "Trigger." Reverse has built-in red plastic whistle and a brass cover over a silver luster insert used to flash signals. Brass pin once attached to the cover is gone. In 1992, a collector sent this to Roy to sign. In thin black ink, Roy wrote "19" and "92" on top and bottom star points. Upper left he wrote "Roy" and upper right is "Rogers." Lower left he wrote "Dale" and lower right is "Evans." Small brass luster loss off the circles at ends of the points, rest of luster is N. Mint. Comes with photocopy of the 1950 instruction sheet that came with the premium. Also comes with self-addressed and stamped mailer for return to Ohio which the collector provided to Roy to make it easy to return and which has San Bernadino, CA April 29, 1992 postmark. Unique.
