Item Description
See previous item #1428. "The Cookie Carnival" originally appeared in the Feb., 1935 issue of Good Housekeeping. Art is done in 5 panels and features various inhabitants of Cookieland. Art comes in attractive gold wood frame and plexiglas cover, overall size is 25x31.5". First panel of art depicts beauty parade passing Judge, each float pulled by animal crackers. Second panel features a crying Miss Muffin being comforted by Gingerbread Man. Third panel features Gingerbread Man decorating/dressing Miss Muffin, readying her for parade. Fourth panel features Judge awarding Miss Muffin with cupcake crown as she sits on candy throne. Fifth panel features Miss Muffin choosing Gingerbread Man as her king as an Uncle Sam-looking candy man looks on. Displays Exc. as framed, ready for display. Beautiful and unique.
