10.25x14.25" professionally framed and matted 6.5x8" letter with inset image of Silent Cal with straw hat. Letter on White House stationery and dated Nov. 14, 1924. Typed letter reads: "My Dear Mr. Nellis: Thank You For Sending Me The Article From The Transcript, Which I Greatly Appreciate. Thank You Also For Your Generous Congratulations On The Election Outcome. Very Truly Yours, Calvin Coolidge." Letter was sent to George W. Nellis, Jr. of the "Deadham Transcript" newspaper of Deadham, Mass. Signature remains bold and distinct. Letter folded once as mailed and lightly aged. Exc. Comes with Hake's COA.
