Item Description
This quite large embossed brass shell has very high relief, beautifully detailed bust of Grant facing left. His name is below while above is the slogan "Let Us Have Peace." Very small 1/8" tarnish dot on extreme upper right rim. Listed as DeWitt/Sullivan 1868-44. The reverse of the piece is open with a spot of solder holding 1.5" vertical stickpin. Rare and we believe the first we've offered.
