Listed as DeWitt/Sullivan 1868-54 and known as the "Star Campaign Badge." 1.25" tall die-cut frame with luster holds circular brass rim surrounding extremely clear and crisp ferrotype image with his name "Grant" above. Numerous pinpoint marks on the emulsion but only showing under magnification. Displays N. Mint although the stickpin has snapped off the reverse.
