Item Description
This is Hake #60 with a 2004 Revised Price value of $1,000. Unfortunately, this example has 4 initials lightly scratched into the celluloid surface on the center left side. These appear to be two sets of initials with "LP" over top of "PC." The four letters cover an area 3/8" tall by .5" wide. While the scratching mars the celluloid surface enough to be slightly visible with normal viewing, it is not so deep that it cut into the paper below the celluloid. Rest of the piece is clean and glossy without stain. Tiny text on bottom edge reads "Copyright 1900 Rockwood N.Y." Reverse has covered metal back with bar pin by the Photo Jewelry Mfg. Co. Issued for his vice-presidential campaign of 1900 and the largest button we know of picturing him in a real photo in uniform.
