9.75x14.25" die-cut cardboard. c. early 1950s. Display card holds original 11 identical 2" metal star badges with inset paper disk photo (1 photo missing) of Hopalong Cassidy identified as "Sheriff." Surrounding rim on each has "Hopalong Cassidy" and "Bar 20 Ranch." Made by D.C.M.P. Ltd., London under official Hopalong Cassidy license. Card has light corner wear to bottom corners and a slight warp. Exc. Four of the insert paper photos have tiny flakes but these are of very minor nature. Card is designed to hold 12 badges, 1 missing (or never included to avoid covering printed text). Each badge is pinned on the reverse with a strip of added tape reinforcement. Badges have full silver luster and are overall Exc. Top center of display has unpunched hanger hole. Superb display piece.
