Item Description
10x15" thin artboard. Signed and dated by artist in black ink. 2006. Ink and watercolor on artboard has great western scene showing Hopalong Cassidy on Topper at chuck wagon accepting cup of coffee from camp cook as pair of cowboys drink coffee. Herd of longhorn steers graze on plain in bkg., rocky vista in distance. Nicely detailed including pile of kindling and ax and discarded saddle in foreground. Spiegle was the artist on the Hopalong Cassidy comic strip between 1949 and 1955. Bright and Exc. with choice art and vibrant color.
