"Dick Daring's Adventures" was a 15-minute afternoon adventure series that ran briefly in 1933 on the NBC Blue network. Quaker Oats sponsored the show and issued merchadise and premiums. 9x12" puzzle shows Dick Daring's Underground Headquarters in detail, noting such features as "Movie Room, Gun Room, Airplane Hangar, Secret Garage" as well as several secret passages, exits and tunnels. City depicted above ground. Slight wear to piece edges with .25" area of surface paper missing on a piece. Top of puzzle has scattered tiny age spotting. Complete and Fine overall. 9x12" map has repeated puzzle image and has wear along folds from original mailing. Two 1.75" tears at fold crease intersection but still bright and VG. 3x5" promotional card from "Andrew (Coach) Rogers" to childs mother explaining that the radio program is a fine upstanding program for children.
