Item Description
2-7/8x5-1/8" stiff card with the candidates' names and smaller text along the bottom margin "Address All Letters To Dr. W.R. Merwin 63 Liberty Street. N.Y." Reverse is blank except for an original black oval ink stamp with spread-winged eagle above a center panel with the name "C.W. Hughes." Card has some all-over aging but darker marks are extremely limited. Bottom edge has pair of 3/16" tears that show very little. There was once some lettering around the upper edge of the circle enclosing each portrait but this is extremely faint now and essentially not readable. About Fine and Rare. Only example known to us.
