Item Description
2x6" ribbon badge unlisted in Hake. Top has metal frame with inked name on the cardboard insert. Suspended from a chain is a white metal circular frame with spread-winged eagle at top holding a bw 7/8" celluloid insert with young photo of FDR. Celluloid's upper left and center right each have spot of air about 3/8" dia. that does show under most light conditions. The piece does not have any stain. Gold lettering below reads "Americus Club Reading, Pa. 1933." Reverse of ribbon has name of maker "Keystone Badge Co." Very minor age on the blue ribbon but no splits or tears. A rare locally issued piece and the first we've seen.
