Item Description
7x11x4" deep box contains complete set c. early 1960s. Box has st. aging. Bit of old tape residue on upper corner of top and small partial puncture tear around the letter "Y." Not that noticeable. Fine. Plastic saucer-style spaceship which works on a gyroscope principle comes with all accessories and paperwork. There is a hard plastic base and framework to insert the toy after you get the gyroscope going with the crank. Other pieces include 9 moon men and 9 spacemen, each about 1.25" tall, two space cars, rocket launcher and 3 rockets. A fascinating toy which performs numerous spinning tricks balancing on its side, center post attached to a spring, etc. Comes with 3 paper pieces - instruction sheet, trick sheet and also "The Space Platform Today's Magic Carpet." Overall toy and all parts are Exc. and rarely found complete. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
