See previous item #1681. 11.25x26.25" frame contains matted original pen and ink daily strip art for Jun. 22, 1967 daily strip. Title paste-over in left-hand margin and News Syndicate Co. Inc. copyright paste-over in first of 3 panels. Pen and ink art by Little Orphan Annie creator Harold Gray. Annie is featured in all 3 panels, seen with Sandy in last. Story deals with rather mysterious and somewhat morbid topic as first of Annie's word bubbles illustrates - "Take A Girl, All Stabbed And Slashed, Nobody But Uncle Ben Raisin' A Hand To Help T'Help Her And Him Gettin' Himself Half Slaughtered For Gettin' 'Involved'!" Annie then goes on to wonder if dead girl has "Come Back." Lightly aged but displays Exc.
