Item Description
27x30". c. 1880. Oval portraits with text above and below each reading "James Garfield For President/Chester Arthur For Vice President." Text on sides reads "Union Forever/Equality For All Men." Made from two sections of repeat fabric (see Hake III #3015) nicely stitched together with candidates appearing side by side. 1-5/8x27.5" stitched top with nicely pleated attachment to center section. 4.5" wide red/white/blue pleated border appears at bottom. Red/blue printed flag design faded. Does not affect portraits or text. Well made. Hand made. VF.
