Letter is to "Mariano Lucca, President, Florentine Festival Society of Buffalo." Mr. Lucca helped group planning to honor Generoso Pope (see next item) with their 1937 award. FDR asks Lucca to extend his "Hearty Felicitations And Warmest Personal Greetings" and refers to Mr. Pope "As Industrialist, Editor and Publisher He Is A Citizen Whose Versatility And Usefulness Has Been Demonstrated In Many Fields Of Action."
